To go up, to climb the metaphorical mountain, to aspire to something higher, better and more beautiful in ourselves.
Ascension Song Cycle comprises music. poetry and song which emerged from our residency at Arte Studio Ginestrelle in Assisi in 2018. We returned in November to perform at the annual studio group exhibition. There we collaborated with Australian Artist Monika Thomas who photographed and documented our surreptitious performance in the Mt Subasio mountain retreat of St Francis.
