RECORDING PROJECT STRING THEORY = SIBLICITY + DATSON HUGHES Hungary’s Peter and Gabor Halasz (Siblicity) collaborate with Australian psych/folk duo Datson Hughes to make spiritual matter, hive-spun of crystalline intuitive intrigue. String Theory weaves antipodean archaic vibes into euro synths and beats from a common magnetic core. DATSON HUGHES dismantle time on hand crafted diatonic Appalachian mountain dulcimers. They have spent the last decade reverse-engineering early experimental electronica into acoustic psych-folk. In String Theory, plangent modal drones and melodies spiral back to the beginning.
